The crossover we didn't know we needed.

The first images of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in season 16 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have been released.

While the two won’t be appearing in a Breaking Bad reunion anytime soon - unless it’s for a PopCorners Super Bowl commercial - we can relish in the fact that these two actors will be guest starring in the American sitcom together.

The beloved FX show has dropped its latest trailer for the upcoming season and fans have been losing it over these A-listers paying a trip the south of Philly.

One eager fan wrote: “I'm not kidding, this single image is more surreal to me than anything in Beau Is Afraid.”

Another said: “HOLD THE F**KIN PHONE.”

A third commented: “14 year old me going absolutely crazy.”

While another theorized: “I’d like to imagine Breaking Bad and Sunny take place in the same universe, and Frank actually knows Walter personally because duh.”

Little is known about who Paul and Cranston will play in the series. All we know so far is that the two are seen wedged into Charlie’s car while he admits the funky smell is due to him ‘vomiting’ earlier.

So, it looks like hilarity will ensue.

Recently, actor Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac in the series, hinted that the long-running show could be coming to the UK.

In January, the actor, who also owns Wrexham football club alongside Ryan Reynolds, sparked excitement among UK fans when he took to Twitter with a cryptic post.

He indicated the cast could travel across the pond to film scenes far from the Pennsylvanian city.

Addressing fans across the UK, he wrote: "Would anyone in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland be interested in a Sunny live show in the Spring? Asking for some friends looking to travel. Will work for food."

As you can imagine, this sent Twitter into a frenzy.

One person replied: "MAKE IT HAPPEN. I'LL MAKE SAID FOOD (milk steak, of course).”

Another said: “Rob come on bro England is begging for it. Would you provide a spread of rum ham?”

While a third wrote: “Make sure ya bring it to the west of Ireland and we’ll sort ya with bed and breakfast and of course a few pints of Guinness!”

I mean, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal, Rob.
