A TikToker who works for her dad at a structural steel company left him in stitches as she attempted to explain her role there.

It's always nice to see a bit of father-daughter bonding, and Julia Pennachio gets that more than most as she actually works alongside her dad at their company in Southern California.

In a video shared on TikTok, Julia explained that she'd been getting a lot of questions about exactly what kind of work she does at the company, so she roped in her dad - who's also her boss - to help her explain.

In the clip, which has since been viewed more than 700,000 times, 26-year-old Julia stated that she'd had a 'passion for structure steel' and its design from a young age - a claim that immediately set her dad off laughing.

Over the course of two minutes, Julia went on to make a whole range of claims about her job at the company, at one point even suggesting she could fill her dad's shoes as vice president when he wasn't around.

"The guys will ask me my opinion on a lot of the jobs," Julia claimed as her dad chuckled in the background, prompting him to ask, "What else do you do?"

"So my dad is the vice president... so I do a lot of the same things that he does," Julia responded. "Like when he goes on vacation, I'm definitely acting vice president."

Julia said her title was actually 'executive office manager', but she claimed that involved 'managing staff' and getting the company 'a lot of business' - yet another claim that set her dad off laughing.

Julia shared the satirical video on TikTok with the caption, 'I’m ALSO employee of the month all 12 months out of the year', and it's since racked up dozens of comments from amused users.

One user pointed out that while Julia's employment at the company could be considered 'nepotism' - potentially pulling her into the 'nepo baby' debate - they added that the relationship she has with her dad is undoubtedly 'warm' and 'loving'.

Even viewers who did describe Julia as a 'nepo baby' seemed to enjoy the clip, as one wrote: "nepo baby haha love this."

"Hysterical! Dad’s just letting you go with it," another amused viewer wrote, as a third added: "dad's laughing because you get paid but he's not even sure what you do at the company [laughing emoji]."
