A pair of well-known twin influencer raised some eyebrows after revealing just how close they are.

Brigette and Danielle Pheloung have a collective Instagram following of more than a million followers on Instagram and are known for sharing content on all things lifestyle and fashion. As you can imagine, with Brigette and Danielle being twin sisters, they're extremely close to one another.

In fact, they say that being twins gives them a 'leg up in the industry'.

"Playing into the sister and twin thing is kind of our leg up in this industry, when standing out is kind of tough because everyone is an influencer these days," Brigette recently told PEOPLE.

"We try to use it as an advantage because it’s unique," agreed Danielle.

It was only up until a year ago that the sisters from New York had never lived apart from each other.

"We used to live together for our whole life since the womb, and we recently, in the past year, separated," Brigette, who got engaged over the summer, revealed.

Brigette has now moved in with her husband-to-be, but fear not folks, Danielle is just a 10-minute walk away.

Another thing that the pair have shared is a bra, and apparently at one stage they had just one piece of the lingerie between them.

Previously chatting on the Gals on the Go podcast, Danielle shared: "Wait, you want to know something crazy? I’m actually embarrassed to say this… We only have one bra."

"And we share underwear," Bridgette then added, which was repeated by her twin sister.

After explaining the pair share 'literally' everything, podcast hosts Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan were left in utter shock.

Danielle explained further: "We only have one bra because we don’t wear bras, but whenever we need a bra, we’re like, wait… and we’re fighting over it."

The twins' confession left people 'stunned'. Somebody wrote online: "I first heard this months ago and still stunned."

"Noooo hahaha I could never," said another, as a third added: "I don’t even share bikini bottoms with my friends lol so underwear is a hard no."

"Makes me want to barf," someone else protested. Elsewhere a TikTok-user suggested that sharing underwear 'crosses a line'.

But dozens of fellow twins like the Pheloung sisters confirmed that this isn't an uncommon thing to do.

One person insisted: "I’m a twin… and these are facts."

"Identical twin here and can confirm we also do this," echoed somebody else.

"My twin and I did the same when we lived together," wrote another.
