Not many of us can go into work and get all of our meals provided to us for nothing can we?

Most of us have to settle for overpriced meal deals or a soggy packed lunch.

Well, that is not an issue for one TikToker as she works on a cruise ship and has food provided for her while on the job.

Cruise worker turned TikToker Krista Jocelyn often provides her 25,000 followers an insight into life on a cruise ship, including the food on offer.

In a video uploaded to her TikTok channel @krista.jocelyn1 back in September, Krista said: "I work on a cruise ship and one perk of the job is that we don't have to pay for any food."

The cruise worker then proceeds to film the food provided to herself and colleagues, saying: "The mess is completely free. On this ship they have a fresh salad bar every day, and on the hotline there's always some sort of pasta, grain vegetable and protein."

The TikToker added: "A lot of the time they'll have fish or bone in chicken but you can also order chicken breast on request, which is what I like to do most of the time.

"They then have a few juice options, coffee, tea and water. There's always yummy deserts available."

Krista concluded the TikTok by saying that while she does miss not cooking for herself anymore, she can't really complain as she is receiving her meals free of charge.

Since being uploaded, the short TikTok has gone viral on the popular video platform with over 2.5 million views.

Over 500 users have also flocked to the comments section, with some even suggesting they want to quit their job to work on a cruise ship for the free food.

"TikTok makes me want to ditch my career and work on a cruise ship," one person penned.

A second added: "Okay cool, so how do i work for a cruise ship? I really want to."

While a third joked: "The food 😁 They would need a crane to get me off that ship 😂."

Meanwhile, another TikTok user posed the question as to what food is on offer for non-meat eaters.

"Do they have decent Vegan options for staff? cause I love the idea of working on a cruise but I wouldn't wanna have to eat the same salad every day," they asked.

"It kinda depends on the ship. Sometimes you can order things from the restaurant but overall I’d say there aren’t a ton of options," Krista replied.
