Best man speech sparks outrage at wedding for being 'disgusting' with x-rated jokes

A best man was determined to give the speech from hell as guests covered their mouths in shock at his cringe-worthy stories.

A best man continued through his painful speech despite the horrified expression of onlookers as he spouted a barrage of risqué jokes.

Married at First Sight Australia viewers were left equally mortified after a best man gave a speech for the ages.

The show saw Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell decide to tie the knot after meeting for the first time, only for Tim’s best friend Ben to steal the show.

Not with a sweet heartfelt speech about the pair’s brief time together, but rather a history of his best mate’s past.

It certainly wasn’t the PG version, as much of his speech was censored when it was shared on the MAFS TikTok page on Monday (January 29).

Social media users were still less than pleased and could tell from the crowds reactions that the speech was going down as well as rotten wedding appetizers.

“Why didn’t the groom shut him down,” one user wrote bemused as to why Ben wasn’t stopped.

“Don’t know what was worse… His speech or hairstyle,” another quipped.

“This doesn’t bode well. Very ordinary indeed, incredibly disrespectful and he sat there and smirked through it all,” a third commented.

“In what world did this guy think this was a good idea .. for a boys weekend maybe for a wedding... dude,” another added.

“Ooh god dude...noooo r u serious!” another commented.

While you may be imagining the most unbelievable and deplorable speech, you can read it for yourself below.

Tim’s best friend, Ben, stole the show with a terribly awkward speech.

Firstly, Ben referred to Tim’s marriage to Sara as ‘experiment number 865’. Not off to a great start.

"I was not surprised to hear Tim was partaking in this experiment because Tim is a man of science," Ben began. "He's quite fond of experimentation."

He then listed a number of Tim’s former ‘experiments’.

“Experiment 551. Romance at high speed. Is road-head safe?” Ben joked.

“Experiment 552. Is it okay to get head in the ER since you crashed your car and you’re here now anyway?

“Experiment 759. Love at first sight through beer goggles.

“Talk to Tim after this speech if you want the results of these experiments.”

Sara's bridesmaid Lauren told the cameras the comments about Tim's sexual exploits while driving were ‘disgusting’.

She added: "This speech is an absolute train wreck. That was a red flag if I've ever seen it.

"Ben's speech was really derogatory. I thought it was disgusting."

Guests at the ceremony watched in horror during the speech.

But oh, it gets so much worse. After telling a story of how he and his friends had watched Tim eat a four day old ‘rancid’ chicken he had words for the bride.

Saying: “Sara, you can find solace in the fact that, rancid or not, Tim will still eat you."

Unbelievably off the mark with that one. Know your audience, guys.
