Terrifying website allows you to see how long you have left to live compared to the runtime of a movie

The unusual website has been shared on Reddit in recent days

Have you ever wondered what scene of a particular movie you'd be at in your life if your life was said movie?

Nope, me neither. But that's not stopped someone creating a website that works out such a scene for you.

If you're wondering what the heck I'm on about, I'll give you an example: When putting my date of birth in and putting an expected life span of 83 years, if I choose the Barbie movie, compared to my life, I'm apparently 33.86 percent through the 2023 film.

For reference, the scene that is exactly 33.86 percent into Barbie (according to this website) is when Barbie and Ken are dressed in their cowboy attire shortly after leaving Barbieland for the real world.

The website has been doing the rounds on Reddit of late, and people have been sharing their own results.

"I’m at the fight scene of They Live," said one.

A different person shared: "I'm at the unveiling of the leg lamp in Christmas Story."

Another quipped: "Tim and Lex about to discover the horror of a T-Rex. Is this the midlife crisis?"

Others shared a more philosophical and serious note.

"This just kinda made me sad. I have so little time left," someone said.

Replying to this, another Redditor wrote: "Enjoy something from every day dude. Be kind to those around you, be a friend to yourself. This is as much as we can do with however much time we have left."

This website was shared on the Reddit's InternetIsBeautiful, but there's a more well-known subreddit called AmITheA**hole where people post their life dilemmas and ask for people's thoughts.

Earlier this year, one person took to the page to ask if they were the a**hole for refusing to give up an extra plane seat that they'd paid for.

The plus-sized passenger purchased the extra seat so she'd be more comfortable.

But before setting off, a young mother requested that she 'squeeze into one seat' so her young son could occupy the other seat.

The woman who paid for the extra seat didn't want to do this though, and showed the mom her two boarding passes.

After much back-and-forth with the other woman and a flight attendant, the mom was told to sit with her young son on her lap.

"I got dirty looks and passive-aggressive remarks from her for the entire flight," the Redditor added, asking if she was the a**hole for not giving up her seat.

The general consensus was that she wasn't in the wrong and that the mother should have planned ahead and purchased an additional seat herself for her toddler.
