A woman on TikTok has been left more than a little flustered after a delivery driver allegedly left her in financial trouble.

Molly, who regularly posts to her TikTok page @unpopularity101, detailed the story to her followers last week and the clips have since gone viral with over 1 million views between the two clips.

She said that after ordering a pizza the delivery driver allegedly added a large tip and this meant she was then unable to pay her rent.

“Me when I ordered a pizza and the driver illegally added a tip large enough to f*** me over for rent after I told him I couldn’t afford to tip,” she wrote in the text overlay of one of her two videos.

Many social media users were disgusted at the situation and encouraged the user to either take it up with the unnamed pizzeria or the police.

“As a delivery driver, I would recommend a charge back or 100% calling the police! That is NOT okay,” one user wrote.

"From a delivery driver. If the driver adds the tip it marks it down and u can call the store or the police,” another delivery driver added.

“Call your bank and dispute charges. easiest way to get out of it,” a third wrote.

“You HAVE to file a police report for that bro. You need a legal paper trail just in case your bank doesn’t give you it back when you dispute,” advised another.

However, not everyone was so supportive and some even argued that if paying rent is difficult, she shouldn’t be ordering food in the first place.

Others remarked that if she can’t afford to tip she shouldn’t order altogether.

In a second video, Molly confirmed she did contact the store to get a refund and indicated that they either did not take action or she could not reach them.

She also clarified that the tip was $40 dollars and said she was ‘petty enough’ to press charges over the incident.

Other TikTok users claimed that they had experienced similar issues when it came to food deliveries and questioned the whole notion of tipping overall.

This obviously sparked a heated debate in the comment section but it is unlikely the big ol debate on tipping culture is set to go anywhere.

How would you react? Would you just let it slide or would you move heaven and Earth till you get that money back?
