Penis size is something that people often attribute to genetics as well as ethnicity and nationality, but is there really much of a difference in other countries?
According to an interactive map which shows you the average size of a man’s erect penis (yes, it’s a real map), there’s a few inches between the biggest average penis-having nation and the smallest.
While we all know that size doesn’t matter, it doesn’t stop people from being interested in the topic.
It also doesn’t help that experts keep weighing in on the matter, because it sucks us all in.

For example, one surgeon and sexual health expert disclosed the body part that can apparently indicate the size of someone's penis.
Dr Rena Malik appeared on the Diary of a CEO podcast, and debunked the myth that bigger feet equals a bigger member.

"There’s one study — it’s a Japanese study where they looked at only Japanese men so there are some limitations — but they measured all these body parts and penile length and they found was that nose length was correlated with penile length, not hand length or foot," she explained.
Obviously, more research needs to be done on that, but what’s pretty solid already is the fact that certain countries tend to have bigger penile lengths.
According to the World Population Review interactive map, the country with the biggest penis in 2025 is tied between Sudan and DR Congo, with a whopping 7.1-inch length when erect.
The smallest? Thailand at 3.7 inches.
Obviously, you’ll want to know what the US stands at, and the map shows that what has been measured for the nation averages out at 5.6 inches, like the UK and Russia, while Canada sits at 5.5 inches.

It's worth highlighting that some of the results rely on self-reported data, which the World Population Review notes 'is notoriously unreliable and easily distorted'.
And, of course, this is the median size of the nations, and not a representation for individual men.

As such, here’s what a self-reported volunteer study by Bespoke Surgery found about men in the US.
It recorded that Alabama had an average length of 7.44 inches, while West Virginia residents admitted to having 7-inch packages.
The biggest sizes then were recorded as Louisiana (7.15 inches), West Virginia (7.00 inches), Vermont (6.98 inches), and Utah (6.97 inches) Oklahoma (6.93 inches) and Alaska (6.92 inches).
That’s almost two inches bigger than other states.
So, take the data with a pinch of salt.
