Dylan Mulvaney has hit back at the trolls in the aftermath of her recent campaigns with Nike and Bud Light, with unfortunately drew in lots of criticism and hate.

Mulvaney, a TikTok sensation who has over 10 million followers, has well and truly made a name for herself since documenting her transition into 'girlhood' on the social media platform.

Although the trans activist does nothing but promote love and positivity on her platform, in recent weeks she has faced criticism and hate from trolls thanks to endorsements with some major brands.

Firstly, on April 1 the 26-year-old revealed that Bud Light sent packs of the beer featuring her face as a way to celebrate her first full year as an 'out-and-proud trans woman'.

Then, Mulvaney partnered with Nike to promote their new range of sports bras and leggings, announcing her collaboration with the brand via Instagram with a tongue-in-cheek story of the content creator working out.

Unfortunately, Mulvaney's partnerships didn't go down well with critics and trolls online, and the TikToker received tons of backlash and transphobic abuse.

Trans woman Caitlyn Jenner even slammed Nike herself, tweeting: "As someone that grew up in awe of what [Nike co-founder] Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke!"

The former Olympian added: "We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage."

But despite the hate and criticism, Mulvaney has stood by herself and has hit back at the trolls, accusing them of bullying her because she’s an 'easy target'.

She recently appeared as a guest on the Onward with Rosie O’Donnell podcast and said her trolls intentionally twist her words and actions in an effort to blast the transgender community.

"The reason that I think I am so… I’m an easy target is because I’m so new to this," she explained.

"I think going after a trans woman that’s been doing this for like 20 years is a lot more difficult. I think maybe they think that there’s some sort of chance with me… But what is their goal?"

Mulvaney added: "These people, they don’t understand me and anything that I do or say then somehow gets taken out of context and is used against me and it’s so sad because everything I try to put out is positive.

"It’s trying to connect with others that maybe don’t understand me. It’s to make people laugh or to make a kid feel seen."

While Mulvaney didn't mention any names, O'Donnell didn't hesitate in calling out Kid Rock for posting a video of himself shouting “F**k Bud Light and f**k Anheuser-Busch!” while using cases of the drinks for target practice in response to the partnership.

"Beer companies have been supportive of the LGBTQIA community for decades. This is not the first time. Who do you think sponsors pride?" she said.

"Gay people, trans people, we drink beer, too, man. Put down your gun, Kid Rock, it’s in bad taste."
