Tyrese’s girlfriend Zelie Timothy admits she was initially ‘more interested’ in Paul Walker
She described her Fast & Furious partner as 'kind of old' and he said his Instagram Live had gone 'really bad'
Tyrese Gibson's girlfriend Zelie Timothy went ahead and admitted on his Instagram Live that she was 'more interested' in Paul Walker.
Zelie opened up about how their romance began, but it quickly turned 'really bad' for Tyrese. Watch here:
The couple have been dating for a couple of years now, and they often share loved-up posts on social media.

However, in this particular Instagram Live, Zelie took the opportunity to declare that she was actually more into Tyrese's late Fast & Furious co-star, Paul Walker.
"My type was actually Paul Walker. Rest in peace," she said. "But [Tyrese] wasn't my type at all. And my type is not 'white'. I'm just saying I was more interested in Paul.
"Even when I met [Tyrese], I was like, 'Eh, he's kind of old'. I just like his smile. It's pretty cool. His personality … His personality was OK."
As you can probably imagine, this wasn't exactly what 44-year-old actor had hoped to hear.
"This went really bad," he said. "This just went really bad really fast. I'm getting off Live. So you wanted the homie; you didn't want me?" he added. "You said I'm old."
And the model and influencer replied: "I never said I wanted the homie, I just said he was cuter.
"You know all this already. I wasn't your type either. So relax. And, yeah, so now we're here, and it's an actual, somewhat of a love story, which is crazy."
Tyrese confirmed their relationship two years ago, shortly after divorcing his ex Samantha Lee Gibson in 2020.
He also revealed in the live that he'd met Zelie after 'sliding into her DMs'.
In a post celebrating their anniversary at the start of the month, he said: "Happy Anniversary to a true God send... I love you and appreciate you....
"The most patient kind, loving and understanding woman ever as most could imagine it's never easy to get in a relationship with someone as they are fresh out of another situation.... She was fresh out of something, and I was too...
