Rihanna confirms she is pregnant after Super Bowl halftime show

So Rihanna DID have a special guest performing with her after all

Rihanna's representatives have confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with her second child following speculation which came after her explosive performance at this year's Super Bowl halftime show.

You can watch the moment she revealed she was expecting during her live performance below:

Rihanna performed a medley of iconic hits from her discography resulting in a spectacular halftime show, but fans were more curious about whether the Fenty brand owner was with child.

Rihanna and rapper-producer partner A$AP Rocky have already welcomed their first child - a baby boy - into the world last May, but it's confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter that the celebrity couple are expecting their second arrival.

Rihanna took to the Super Bowl stage tonight (12 February) singing a plethora of hits from the State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, where the Philadelphia Eagles are playing against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Rihanna admitted that she had to think twice about her choice to perform at the big game because of the birth of her son last year, but felt ultimately inspired by motherhood to perform at the hugely anticipated halftime show.

She said: “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything.

"And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all.

“It’s important for my son to see that.”

She also mentioned that squeezing all of her hits into such a short set was going to be difficult and had to really think hard about which anthems out of her 18-year-long discography would make the cut.

“The setlist was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part — deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what the show’s going to be — it’s going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way,”

“I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.” she added.

The final setlist covered a wide range of RiRi's songs, from old bangers to new bops and everything in between.

The full set ran as follows:

'B***h Better Have My Money'
