Father of 12 Nick Cannon says he's open to more children and will let God tell him when to stop

He admitted that some of his children weren't planned however it seems like the big man upstairs had different ideas.

Just when you thought having 12 children would be enough, it seems like 'the more the merrier' when it comes to Nick Cannon.

The world has been collectively amazed and shocked at how big the TV star's brood has become.

He has 12 children with six women and it doesn't sound like he's slowing down anytime soon.

In an interview with Dr Laura Berman, Cannon discussed how his views the concept of fatherhood.

When Dr Berman suggested Nick resembles the religious figure known as Abraham, he replied: "I've never heard that clarity, but I've heard 'Yo, you're going to be a father of many. You're a great influence, your lineage, your offspring are going to do great things'."

She asked whether he was keen on having more children in the future and he said he would do whatever was in God's plan.

"Only God can let me know when I'm done," he said on The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman podcast.

"As much as I was open to every single child that I have, I can't say the majority of them were planned.

"If you would have told me in 2012 when I was still married and just diagnosed with Lupis that 10 years from now... that I would have 12 children, I would be like f**ck out of here!

"There's no way in the world that I would ever plan that."

And yet here we are.

Cannon was asked how he managed to get some of his baby mothers pregnant when they were on birth control.

He said he's no expert and instead deferred again to the big man upstairs.

"I lend that type of stuff to God. Those are miracles," he said.

Last year, Cannon’s family spiralled from seven to 12, as he had kids with Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi, radio host and DJ Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, and Brittany Bell.

You might think that juggling 12 children would be a nightmare and virtually impossible.

Nick says he tries to spend time with them all, but recently admitted that it’s his baby girl Onyx who has been grabbing much of his time lately.

That’s because he’s got a nursery for her attached to his office, but also because her mother is happy for him to take the reins more often.

The youngster, who Cannon shares with model LaNisha Cole, was born in September last year, and it seems that Cannon is super smitten with his little girl.
