American fashion designer Vera Wang once revealed the secrets to keeping up her youthful appearance, and you may be surprised to hear they involved fast food.
76-year-old Wang is known for her elegant wedding gowns, past dreams of becoming an Olympic figure skater, and maintaining an age-defying physique, which fans routinely comment on.
And it turns out that ordering burgers and munching on donuts is the answer, according to an interview the icon completed a few years ago.
“I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely,” she told Page Six at the 2023 DKMS Gala in New York City.

“I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change.”
As well as being a big McDonald’s fan, Wang is apparently partial to a Dunkin’ Doughnuts.

“I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated donut. It’s like a jelly donut, but it’s cream inside, vanilla cream,” she confessed.
“I like the pink with sprinkles, too.”
Wang and Dunkin recently teamed up on national proposal day to ‘surprise a fan with a once-in-a-lifetime bridal experience’.
From March 20 through to April 3, fans who incorporated the unique 'I Dough' ring box into their proposal moment could enter a contest to win a exclusive bridal experience at Wang’s flagship stores in either New York City or Beverly Hills.
As well as indulging in take-out food, the mother-of-two said that working in the high-paced fashion industry has kept her ‘young and stimulated’.
“I work very long hours; I’ve raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health,” she claimed.
Wang echoed similar sentiments to PEOPLE previously. She shared at the time: "Nobody believes me when I say it, but working keeps you young. It keeps your mind young, and your spirit up and your relevance up, which I think affects your body."
Wang further divulged: "And, one of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail. There's no question about that, I do. I have a vodka at some point after five or six o'clock, maybe towards seven.
"And I have to say, sleep, staying out of the sun without sunblock, and good lighting is everything too!"

After working at Vogue and Ralph Lauren in the 1970s and 80s, Wang launched her namesake brand, which is currently owned by WHP Global.
Following the launch, the businesswoman went on to make wedding gowns for celebrities such as Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kim Kardashian, and her sister, Khloé.
Figure skaters like Nancy Kerrigan and Nathan Chen have also worn costumes designed by Wang.
In 2009, she was inducted into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame for her contribution to the sport as a costume designer.
