Acting prodigy Timothée Chalamet has dropped a pointedly positive list of who he considers to be the greatest actors of all time, while Quentin Tarantino continues to face backlash for slamming three very well-known stars.
The cult film director, 62, has received fairly widespread pushback from across Hollywood this week after absolutely tearing into actor Paul Dano, whom he described as 'the weakest f**king actor in SAG.'
Dano was blamed by the Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction auteur for 2007's There Will Be Blood not topping his list of the greatest films of the century, with a barb thrown at Owen Wilson and Matthew Lillard for good measure as actors he doesn't 'care for'.
Marking a sharp contrast from these negative comments, 29-year-old Chalamet has gone on to reveal his list of the three 'GOAT' actors of our generation, all while being driven around a race track at high speed in an interview with Lucid Motors.

Despite the terrifying high-octane experience, when asked who he thought the greatest actor was, Chalamet could not help but break his answer down into three.
"Denzel is the GOAT, Christian Bale is the GOAT, and Joaquin Phoenix is the strange GOAT," the Dune actor said without missing a beat.
And when pressed on how he evaluates others in the industry, he said humbly: "I feel just like I'm playing against myself," and shared some wisdom on acting from another GOAT.
He shared: "Daniel Day Lewis said to Jeremy Strong 'to embark on a role seriously is to be willing to be foolish', what I do can be really silly at times."
The Willy Wonka actor's shining positivity was something of an antidote during a week embroiled in reaction to Tarantino's negative comments about the three major Hollywood stars, which Matthew Lillard described as 'humbling' and 'hurtful' to hear from such a highly-regarded director.
In fact, Chalamet has been on something of a hype tour for some of Hollywood's greatest actors. Taking to the stage in São Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday to name the people who made him want 'to become an actor in the first place.'
Sitting next to Josh Safdie, director of his latest film Marty Supreme, Chalamet named the actors who inspired him, with Denzel Washington making a repeat appearance.

"The people that inspired me to become an actor in the first place," Chalamet told the crowd.
"The greats before me, the Denzel Washingtons, the Leonardo DiCaprios, the people that laid a path that you aspire to as a young man, as a young artist."
He then pointed out that actors can have a huge impact on people's lives, elaborating: "You get inspired by these people when you're young and sometimes the world puts you down and doesn't encourage you to dream."
He went on to link his new film to this power of positivity and encouragement, saying: "Marty Supreme is about an underdog, it's about believing your dreams when no one has your back, when no one believes in you, when the people you think love you the most, that claim to be in love with you, don't have your back."
