Snoop Dogg says only one person can outsmoke him

It's hard to imagine anyone could beat Snoop at smoking weed

It’s safe to say Snoop Dogg has established himself as a master of marijuana, but the man himself has now admitted there is one person who could out-smoke him.

The terms ‘Snoop Dogg’ and ‘weed’ pretty much go hand-in-hand at this point, so much so that he practically broke the internet when he - falsely - claimed he was giving up the drug.

So it’s hard to imagine there could be anyone who could out-smoke the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper, but apparently there is.

Snoop made the revelation during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel back in 2018, when he was asked to share his thoughts on the weed experts of the world.

Kimmel explained: "Seth Rogen was here last week, and we were talking about Mount Rushmore of pot smokers, and of course, you are on.

"And I think that Seth is on Mt. Rushmore. Who would you put on that Mt. Rushmore?"

Snoop was quick to place a few names on the marijuana mountain, saying: "I would put Bob Marley. I would put Cheech and Chong - they were the first faces on the mountain, they're the ones who showed us what a mountain was."

However, there was one person who stands out from the rest, according to Snoop.

Snoop had a lot of names to put on the mountain.

"Willie P. Nelson is definitely on there," he said, before revealing:

"And by the way, Willie Nelson is the only person who has ever outsmoked Snoop Dogg. I had to hit the 'time out' button."

Snoop told Kimmel he'd 'never' had to ask for a time out before, making Willie the only person to out-smoke him.

Willie later corroborated the story in an interview with Daily Beast, saying: "That was over in Amsterdam! I called Snoop and I said, 'Hey buddy, you gotta come over here. This is where it’s at!'

"So he came over and we hit every bar, every smoke place in Amsterdam. We had a helluva time."

Willie Nelson corroborated Snoop's story.

But while Snoop met his match with Willie, the music legend doesn't consider himself to be the best of the best.

When asked about his proficiency with weed, Willie added: "Oh, I don’t know. There’s probably people that can outsmoke me! I don’t do a lot of smoking anymore.

"I’ve switched over to a vaporizer because it’s better on my lungs."

Just imagine what would happen if we could get Willie, Snoop, Rogen, Marley and Cheech and Chong in a room together.

It might not be the most productive meeting, but it would certainly be entertaining.
