Ryan Reynolds has finally revealed the sex of his and wife Blake Lively’s fourth child after months of speculation.

In 2012, Deadpool star Reynolds, 47, and Gossip Girl actress Lively, 36, tied the knot after initially meeting on the set of Green Lantern in 2010.

Two years later the Hollywood couple revealed they’d given birth to their first daughter James, nine, followed by Inez, seven, in 2016.

In 2019, the pair announced they’d welcomed a third daughter called Betty into the world and last February the family quietly added a fourth to their family.

At the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine on July 22, Reynolds revealed their youngest child was named Olin but didn’t confirm their sex.

“I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he said while taking to the stage as part of the proceeding for the Marvel film’s debut.

“I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here.”

"I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that is, the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life. I love that my entire family is here."

Days after revealing Olin’s name, Reynolds announced in an emotional interview that the one-year-old tot is a boy.

In a video, posted to Instagram, the Fall Guy star met with mental health campaigner John Bell whose son, Jake, was a huge fan of Deadpool before his death.

To honor Jake’s life and thank the man for co-founding Walking 4 Hope, the father-of-four had a team makeover Bell to resemble the comic book anti-hero.

After hearing about how Bell battled to live with grief following Jake’s death, Reynolds said he was ‘very grateful’ for the man candidly sharing his story.

“I want to share with you that I too have a son,” continued the actor.

“And that if boy, John, if I love him 1/10 as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job.”

Fans of the tear-jerking video have since come out in droves to congratulate Reynolds and Lively on their son.

“Beautiful story and cause! Also why is no one mentioning how in this video Ryan revealed him and Blake had a boy,” typed one Instagram user.

A second said: “Not all hero’s wear capes. John Bell is indeed a Hero to me. Ryan Reynolds has ALWAYS been one in my eyes, as well.”

“This just made me emotional,” commented another fan. “Wow. What a devastating journey, and to be able to come out stronger just shows how much you grow as an individual every day!! ((Also, awww yayyy a little boy joined your team!! Badass!”
