When Octavia Spencer speaks, we all need to listen.
The Oscar winner is known for dominating the film industry, but she also shared some wise words for Britney Spears regarding marriage that have since gone viral.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the princess of pop’s split from her husband of one year, Sam Asghari.
On Wednesday, TMZ reported that fitness model and aspiring actor, 29 was filing for divorce from Spears, 41.

The estranged couple had been together for over six years and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in June 2022.
Through his representative, Brandon Cohen, Asghari denied reports he was planning to release embarrassing information about Spears if she didn't make concessions in the divorce.
"There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos," he said. "However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be. Sam has always and will always support her."
Amid all the rumours, fans have remembered the hilariously honest comment the Hidden Figures star left under an Instagram post the ‘Stronger’ singer shared announcing her nuptials.
“I can’t f***ing believe it,” the pop icon wrote. Instead of simply wishing the pair ‘congratulations’, instead, Spencer commented: “Make him sign a prenup.”

As the news broke about the divorce, a fan shared a screenshot of Spencer’s savage comment on X and since Wednesday (August 16) it has gained 15,500 reposts (formerly known as retweets) and 246,000 likes.
Fans are having a field day with the resurfaced comment. With reference to her spooky thriller film Ma, an X user posted: “MA IS MOTHERING.”
Another commenter said: “Ma knows best!”
Another X account shared: “Octavia Spencer is so good for the world! We will never make her drink alone!”
While another person quipped: “Mother Octavia always knows what’s up.
“This is why Octavia is one of my favourite, down on earth celebrities.”
Spears broke her silence on late on Saturday by shared a video of herself to Instagram where she was dancing to Janet Jackson's song 'If' accompanied by a statement.
She wrote: "As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!!
"But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!! I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!"
