Miley Cyrus has opened up about her evolving relationship with her parents amid her dad's new relationship with British actor Liz Hurley.
After Billy Ray Cyrus' third marriage with singer Firerose ended in divorce last year, the 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker confided in his Christmas in Paradise co-star.
Having first met back in 2022 for the festive film, it was reported that the pair had started dating at the start of this year, before they confirmed the rumors as true in April.
While their relationship initially caught fans off guard, with some even questioning whether early photos were real, the pair appear to be going strong.

The two recently made a public appearance at the 2025 National Television Awards in London, where they were seen embracing backstage.
Eyewitnesses say Billy Ray surprised Liz outside her dressing room, leading to a warm and passionate reunion. Later, they walked the red carpet together with her son Damian and TV host Rob Rinder.
In a recent interview, 32-year-old Miley reflected on her evolving view of her parents.
Of course, Miley and her dad appeared in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011, but Miley acknowledged that her perception of family has changed with time.
As per The Mirror, the 'Wrecking Ball' songstress remarked: "When you are younger, I think you just view your parents as mom and dad rather than individuals with feelings, with faults, with their own story.
"The most important thing for both my parents is that they are happy, and it's clear to see they both are."
Miley and Billy Ray were rumored to be at odds after she notably omitted any mention of him during her Grammy win speech in 2023, fueling speculation of a family rift. But her latest comments suggest anything but.
Miley also failed to mention her father in her 2024 Grammy acceptance speech, though she did thank her mom, her sister Brandi and her boyfriend Maxx Morando.
Meanwhile, the 60-year-old The Royals star seems to be embracing her 64-year-old partner's music background, revealing to Hello! magazine that he has been giving her guitar lessons.
"I've been in England all summer for the first time ever and have loved every moment.
"Billy is teaching me to play the guitar; right now I'm appalling, but I'm hoping to improve!"
