Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing.

Logan Paul stormed off his own podcast in a new episode with Tana Mongeau.

Mongeau, a fellow YouTube content creator, was a guest on an episode that was shared on November 21.

The bio of the episode that was dropped on YouTube teases that Mongeau, Paul and Mike Majlak discuss Anthony Joshua's upcoming fight with Jake Paul, Vine making its long-awaited return, and Majlak supposedly putting a down payment on a sex robot...

But one thing that wasn't fully discussed was the backlash Paul received following a video he made in Japan.

In 2017, Paul and his friends visited the Aokigahara forest at the base of Mount Fuji. Some say the forest is 'haunted' as a lot of people go there to take their own lives.

While he was filming, Paul came across a deceased man and showed close-up shots of the apparent suicide victim.

The group were visibly shocked but also made jokes, something which many branded as insensitive. The fact that they showed the man's body was also widely criticized.

He went on to apologize for posting the video and shared his regret about ever posting it.

"I should have never posted the video," Paul said at the time. "I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through."

He added that he was 'disappointed' and 'ashamed' with himself for his actions. Ultimately, Paul took the video down from the platform.

What did Tana Mongeau say on the podcast?

Paul was talking about one of the world's strongest men doing a tug-of-war with a group of kids, and the kids beat him.

Majlak was then seen signaling at Mongeau to use the mention of rope as an opportunity to bring up the 2017 controversy Paul was at the center of.

Paul caught on to what they were doing, to which Mongeau explained: "Mike is being really silly right now. 'Rope' is a good time for me to make my classic suicide forest joke on Impaulsive, and he [Majlak] tried to lay me up."

Mongeau continued to say that she questioned herself about mentioning it because it seemed as if Paul wasn't in the mood for that kind of joke, but also branded him 'low-hanging fruit' in what she said was an unintentional pun.

It was at this moment that Paul pushed the mic out of the way and put his face in his hands before walking off the podcast set.

Mongeau and Majlak burst into laughter as the YouTuber-turned-wrestler stormed off.

To make it up to him, Mongeau had to drink a Prime and plug his brand.
