Lamar Odom criticized after ordering $8,000 custom sex doll modeled on ex Khloe Kardashian
Lamar Odom has been slammed after ordering a custom sex doll which his manager says was modeled on his former partner Khloe Kardashian.
The ex NBA player was married to Khloe from 2009 to 2016, and it was a relationship that rarely left the headlines.
Now in their separate lanes, Odom visited the RealDoll sex toy facility in Las Vegas earlier this week to make a purchase, his manager, Gina Rodriguez, told TMZ.
Snaps and videos obtained by the outlet show the former Los Angeles Lakers star browsing the catalogue of sex dolls, while also handling sex toys from a working station in one particular clip.

In the end, Odom ordered a doll that came with a face similar to Khloe, with his rep telling TMZ 'he can do whatever he wants with her [the sex doll] sexually'.
While the dolls are said to be worth anywhere between $8,000 and $20,000, Odom is believed to have received a discount.
The former basketball player said the one of the sex dolls was so realistic 'it looks like she got blood running through her veins right here', while also squeezing the breasts of the doll.
The sex doll Odom purchased is still being built, but will reportedly be delivered in time for the holiday season.
Many have flocked to social media after seeing the videos and pictures, with the vast majority unimpressed with Odom.
"This is beyond weird and creepy," one person wrote on Twitter while a second added: "Eww this is so creepy.. like why would you even want that."
In a statement provided to UNILAD, Odom's manager, Gina Rodriguez, said: "Lamar Odom's choice to purchase a RealDoll modeled after his ex speaks to the complex ways people process and cope with significant relationships from their past. It’s possible that this RealDoll represents a unique blend of nostalgia, comfort, and a way to reconcile his personal journey.
"While it may seem unconventional, it’s a very personal form of expression that allows him to channel and make peace with those memories in a private and non-destructive way. Everyone has their own methods for dealing with meaningful chapters in life, and for Lamar, this may be a way of revisiting that part of his past with a sense of control and resolution."
UNILAD has reached out to Khloe's representatives for comment.
Odom and Khloe's divorce was finalised in 2016 following years of controversies.
Their relationship was marred with cheating scandals, with Odom opening up on the pressure of being in the spotlight in his 2019 memoir, Darkness to Light.
He wrote: "At the start of our marriage I was faithful to her. I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity.
“Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression. … I couldn’t keep my d–k in my pants or the coke out of my nose.
"I’ve had sex with more than two thousand women. There were too many strippers to count. My sex addiction and my cocaine addiction go hand in hand."
Speaking further about the situation with People, Odom added: "I wish I could have been more of a man. It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with."
