Bill Clinton was revealed as one of the 150 names associated with Jeffrey Epstein listed in unsealed court documents.

The court documents - released late last night (3 January) - formed part of a 2015 defamation lawsuit brought against Ghislaine Maxwell by Virginia Giuffre.

However, alongside accusations from Giuffre - who said both Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell sexually abused and trafficked her - the documents also detail the accounts of another alleged victim, Johanna Sjoberg.

Manhattan federal Judge Loretta Preska ordered for the release of the documents last month.

The documents revealed more than 150 names of former associates of Epstein - including the likes of UK royal Prince Andrew and former US presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.

The papers also included fresh allegations from Sjoberg, who spoke out about figures such as Prince Andrew, musician Michael Jackson, magician David Copperfield and also Bill Clinton in a 2016 deposition.

The court documents detail Sjoberg being asked whether Epstein 'ever talk[ed] to [her] about Bill Clinton'.

She's recorded as responding: "He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls."

Despite Sjoberg naming Clinton in the deposition - and the former US president's name allegedly appearing over 50 times in the redacted documents - he has not been accused of any illegality or wrongdoing.

Reports state Clinton was simply mentioned so frequently because of Giuffre's attempts to get him to testify.

The former president has also always denied being aware of Epstein and Maxwell's illegal sexual activities, a spokesperson for him saying in 2019 he had used Epstein's private jet and knew the disgraced financier but had never visited his island like Guiffre alleged.

Maxwell also denied Clinton had visited Epstein's island, stating in a 2016 deposition the allegations 'that Clinton had a meal on Jeffrey's island is 100 percent false' but that he may've had a meal on the plane.

Sjoberg didn't claim Jackson or Copperfield had done anything illegal either, however, Epstein, Maxwell and Prince Andrew were accused.

In the 2016 deposition, Sjoberg said: "They put the puppet on Virginia’s lap, and I sat on Andrew’s lap, and they put the puppet’s hand on Virginia’s breast, and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo."

She also says there's a photograph which proves she was there - the image allegedly showing her next to Guiffre.

Prince Andrew has vehemently denied the claims.

Spokesperson for Bill Clinton, Angel Ureña shared a statement originally made in 2019, although noting it's now been more than 20 years since Clinton last had contact with Epstein.

Ureña added the former President did not object to the unsealing of the documents.
