He might be an A-List actor, but it turns out Jason Momoa enjoys a concert like anyone else.

The Justice League star is a major metalhead and was even spotted at a Metallica gig over the weekend.

If that weren’t epic enough, he was filmed rocking out in the mosh pit with other fans. Take a look for yourself:

As you can imagine seeing Momoa mosh is pretty incredible, with the 44-year-old towering over other concertgoers as he joins in.

Rushing around to the heavy metal music, the Aquaman actor can be seen almost skipping around the circle and singing along with other fans.

Clearly, the A-Lister enjoyed letting his hair down at the Metallica gig - which happened over the weekend in Los Angeles.

Fans have also been loving the Game of Thrones actor’s enthusiasm, with one clip of him rocking out going viral on TikTok.

Uploaded by user @thekrystalmethod0, the amazing footage has quickly gained over 1.5 million views with fans hilariously reacting to the viral video.

“Hitting a mosh pit with Khal Drogo is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” gushed one GOT viewer, with another commenting: “People would not believe me if I told them I got to mosh pit with Jason Mamoa.”

Meanwhile, a third was touched by Mamoa’s moshing and wrote: “Often times we forget that actors and other people of fame are just that, people with hobbies and interests too.”

They added: “This is cool to see.”

    Momoa also rocked out backstage.

In fact, there was a sweet story behind the A-Lister attending the concert as he’d hoped to go with Travis Snyder – who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.

Sadly, the dad was unable to see Metallica perform due to an emergency, but Mamoa video-called him from the concert so he could meet the band.

The actor later shared photos from the night on Instagram, including some with Snyder on a call from his hospital bed.

Momoa also uploaded photos with fans and supporting act Pantera, thanking everyone for helping Synder meet his heroes.

In the caption, he wrote: “We had it all set up. I’m so thankful for everyone who made it possible for @thetravissnyder to see @metallica and @panteraofficial with @tommorello.”

“This was a dream for travis and unfortunately we had some emergency for him last night but he’s good and healing."

The actor added: “But im so thankful for @metallica for connecting with him. You guys are the soundtrack to our lives.”

Amazingly, Mamoa wasn’t the only celeb at the insane concert with actor John Travolta and drummer Tommy Lee also spotted at the show.

It seems music really does bring people together.
