People are calling for Jack Doherty to be banned from all streaming platforms after watching his live-streamed car crash.

Popular YouTuber and Kick streamer Jack Doherty is facing the ire of his fan base and the internet on the whole after being involved in a car accident.

During a live stream on Kick on Saturday (October 5), the 20-year-old was driving his $200,000 McLaren sports car with his friend Michael down a Miami highway.

The stream appeared to show Doherty looking at his phone while driving the supercar, before skidding on the wet road and crashing into the barrier.

The video footage then becomes unclear but the pair can be heard talking to one another and banging for help from other motorists.

The footage has since been removed from Kick but has popped up on other social media platforms.

When the pair do exit the vehicle, Doherty continues filming and turns to his friend Michael asking if he is alright despite him dripping blood from his face.

Doherty then proceeded to complain about his totaled custom-designed McLaren 570S and amazingly, even asked his injured friend to take his phone and also start recording.

This proved to be the last straw for many people who later saw the video online and began to ruthlessly criticize the streamer.

“Imagine crashing and then your boy says here film this while youre activly bleeding,” one person commented shocked.

“Bro is not okay," another wrote. "Bruh Jack out here endangering mfs lives and texting while driving bro put this mf behind bars. And this guy still had the audacity to continue filming and making his cameraman film bro."

“Bro the audacity after crashing and nearly killing your passenger and then telling him to hold the camera is beyond me this kid is a joke and must be stopped,” a third commented.

“His friend is bleeding from the skull, could possibly have a concussion, and his immediate reaction is to hand him the phone and tell him to film," another enraged viewer wrote. "Absolute dog s*** human being."

As well as this, some people suggested the friend should consider legal action for endangering his life.

And others noted the police could get involved if they can confirm Doherty crashed due to being on his phone.

Doherty has already turned the incident into another video on his YouTuber channel entitled ‘we almost died’. The video features the aftermath of the crash and the car being taken away.

However, it so far hasn’t been well received and already has 13,000 dislikes compared to the 3,000 likes.

UNILAD has contacted Jack Doherty’s representatives for comment.
