Earlier this year a former Harry Potter actress announced she was joining OnlyFans and now she's spoken out about how she's getting on, admitting she has a 'sense of shame'.

Back in March, Jessie Cave, known for playing the role of Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter franchise, said she would be joining OnlyFans platform, but with a twist.

While OnlyFans has become synonymous with erotic material, Brown insisted that isn’t what she would be doing on there, but rather appealing to a somewhat niche group of people.

Her page iscentered on ‘hair stuff’, where she combs and does her hair in front of the camera.

She added that she hopes it will bring in the big bucks and admitted it was a 'fetish' for some people.

At the time of her announcement she clarified on her substack page what she was hoping to achieve.

She wrote: “One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc.

“My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”

However in a new rather candid comment, she made it clear it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing.

Writing on her substack page again, she admitted to feeling an aspect of shame and feeling grossed out at the transition.

She wrote: "It’s gotten a little nasty. I feel a little gross, a little scared. I am receiving too many lurid messages and don’t like being sent unsolicited d***s.

"No matter how many times I say I am not doing sexual content, I get a message within two seconds asking to see cm in my hair or if I would just please f**ing consider full frontal."

Speaking on her ‘sense of shame’ she added: "It’s proof of my failure to make (or rather, keep hold of) money as an actress and writer. I’ve got nothing to show for 18 years of work in the arts industry.

"I’ve rented for 18 years and drained all my money on that and self-funding my YouTube videos or Edinburgh shows."

As well as this, the star noted that she finds herself in a bit of a cycle working on the platform.

She said: "I dread the evenings because I know I have to message rather than zone out watching tv.

"I’ve stopped reading because I feel like it’s not using my time efficiently: any spare moment when I’m not with the kids I should be making money and keeping my fans subscribed.

"I’m on a content treadmill and I can’t get off, send help."
