Family Feud host Steve Harvey says he's 'fine' as he addresses affair rumors

Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie both responded after rumors of an affair emerged

Family Feud's Steve Harvey has attempted to clear up speculation about the state of his marriage after rumors emerged about his wife having an affair.

Harvey and his wife Marjorie became a blended family when they tied the knot in 2007, with seven children between them.

The TV presenter has been married twice previously, but in 2012 he told People Marjorie had 'changed the way [he] existed'.

"I'd never been in a healthy adult relationship. I'd never been loyal, I'd never been fully respected," he said at the time.

More than a decade on, Harvey has been forced to insist that he and Marjorie are still on good terms after rumors emerged on social media claiming Marjorie had engaged in multiple affairs, and was now seeking a divorce.

Posts shared on Twitter, aka X, alleged Marjorie was seeking a settlement of $200 million in the divorce - though both she and Harvey have denied claims there's anything wrong.

Harvey took the opportunity to address the speculation during an appearance at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta on Sunday (27 August).

Before getting into the reason why he was there, Harvey said: "I’m fine. Marjorie: fine.

“I don’t know what y’all are doing, but find something else to do, ‘cause we fine. Lord, have mercy.

“Sometimes ... you wanna respond, but I ain’t got no time for rumor and gossip.

"God been good to me. I’m still shining."

Harvey's comments were met with laughs and cheers from the crowd, and have been viewed more than 700,000 times since being shared on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Marjorie has made her own efforts to address the rumors as she took to Instagram to share a post which showed an article titled, 'How to handle being lied about'.

In the caption, she wrote: “My husband and I don’t usually stop to address all the foolishness and lies that have been spread about us. However, to whom much is given much is required.

"I understand that with my platform comes some sort of responsibility to those that may not be as strong as we are. Read and share this [article] with your love ones that may not know how to properly cope. God Bless all of you."

Fans have shown their support for the couple after they shut down the speculation, with one TikTok user pointing out that 'maybe everyone needs to worry about their own relationship'.
