Chrissy Teigen has shared that her tooth has had an unfortunate collision with a candy cane.
With the festive period well and truly in full swing and the countdown ticking into the hours now before the big day arrives, it appears the 40-year-old model is having her own Nightmare Before Christmas moment.
The mom-of-four has revealed she's had an accident involving a candy cane.
While helping her kids, Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 2 and Wren, 2, 'grow' their own delicious treats with magic, and generous sprinkles of crushed up Oreos, the idea was for Teigen to swap out the smaller candy canes while they slept for bigger versions to show how they were 'growing'.

But by day three, Teigen revealed the trick majorly backfired on her.
"Candy cane growing," she explained in a video on Instagram, while delicately covering her face. "I tried to open one of these bad boys, and my tooth fell off."
While laughing through the blunder, a very obvious gap at the front of her teeth can be seen in her smile.
"It's a veneer. I have the whole piece," she then showed the camera. "This is what moms do for their kids, so you can think you grew a candy cane.
"I was trying to create magic, now I have no tooth, and tomorrow's the winter sing, so," she giggled.
In a follow-up clip, the TV host showed how it didn't stop her from attending the 'winter sing' event or her kids' school recital.
The video ended with a slideshow of Teigen's selfies with her missing tooth and the fully grown candy canes to Bruno Mars' track, 'Just the Way You Are.'
"Merry chrithmath from our family to yours!!!!!!!," she hilarious captioned the post.

Fortunately, the star revealed on her Instagram Stories that her toothless journey has come to an end, revealing she's now 'back in business' with a new veneer.
"Was cool to say hi to my old tooth for a while," she added.
Her husband, John Legend, wasted no time in weighing in on the disaster, apparently also finding the funny side as he shared three crying laughing face emojis in the comments.
Meanwhile, dozens of others posted jokes, like lyrics to the old Christmas record, 'All I want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth', while praising Teigen for her honesty and humor.
"So brave Chrissy, thanks for sharing a good laugh with us," said one fan.
"I swear I love you! This is hilarious! Your kiddos are going to enjoy looking back at your content! I enjoying watching them grow!" penned another.
A third echoed: "I love how real your motherhood posts are. Because it is not for the week! Lol."
