Billie Eilish sparks concern as she shares photo of bite marks on her arms

Billie Eilish fans have asked the singer to 'explain' after she posted snaps of 'bite marks' on her arm over the weekend.

The pop star took to social media to share how she enjoyed Independence Day (July 4), posting an array of pictures and videos.

But while most of her 119 million Instagram followers took to the comment section to say how much they loved her, some eagle-eyed fans noticed bruising on her arms - as well as bite marks.

One of the 10 pictures that Eilish shared depicted her forearms with what appeared to be bite marks on both of them.

Responding to the picture, one person said: "Explain the bites."

While someone else commented: "One happened to her arms in slide 6???"

But they weren't the only ones concerned. One person also commented: "Billie who's biting you liek that."

Meanwhile one person commented, 'the bite marks', followed with an emoji in floods of tears.

One person weighed in: "The bites on the arm, a lot of me showing affection for the people I like."

Meanwhile, fans also commented on another picture that the star uploaded, where the star can be seen lifting her arm up to reveal a bruise.

It was enough for one person to comment: "the bruise.. are you okay?"

But the singer isn't one to shy away from pain.

The singer has at least four tattoos, after first revealing her plans to get one in 2017 when she assured that she wouldn't be getting any 'face tattoos'.

Speaking to Vanity Fair at the time, Eilish said: "The only tattoos I wanna get are the ones that barely anyone can see."

Then in 2018, the 'Bad Guy' singer actually followed through with her plans and got her first tattoo.

Providing a further update to her fans in 2021, Eilish said that she'd since had two more permanent pieces of work inked on her body.

The singer didn't entirely stick to her plan of getting tattoos 'barely anyone can see' however - with one featured prominently on the side of her hand.

That particular piece of art features a drawing of some fairies, which is inspired by a book called Fairyopolis that Eilish had growing up.

"They're like my little guardian angel fairies," she said.

She also has one 'big boy' tattoo of a dragon on her waist and her name on her ribcage.
