Angeline Jolie has hit back at a supposed NDA request made by Brad Pitt as the pair's messy divorce takes another turn.
Jolie and Pitt have been embroiled in a high-profile divorce for years, with Jolie citing 'irreconcilable differences' for the split.
The pair had been dating for 12 years and married for two when they split, though a dispute remains over who owns Château Miraval, a French winery.
The two shared the $25 million winery business, when Jolie decided to sell her stake in 2021.

Then, in 2022, Pitt claimed Jolie had broken ‘contractual rights’ by selling her half of Château Miraval without his knowledge to a Russian oligarch, the BBC reported at the time.
Jolie hit back, stating that she had made her intentions clear to her ex, and he had returned by asking her to sign a non-disclosure agreement if he was to buy the share from her.

Her countersue went on to accuse Pitt of 'waging a vindictive war' against her, PEOPLE reported.

In an October 6 filing, Jolie claimed that Pitt demanded she sign a non-disclosure agreement so he could buy her interest in the the winery.
"There was no practical need for the NDA, as I had not pressed charges or spoken out about the events that led to our divorce," Jolie wrote in the filing.
"In fact, for the previous five years, I had never publicly said a word about his actions. As the mother of our children, as well as an advocate for victims of violence around the world, I found his demand extremely painful."
In the documents filed by attorneys in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday (October 6), Jolie detailed the impact the divorce had on herself and her children.

As per PEOPLE, the actor wrote: "Post-separation, I immediately began to look for a new house for me and our children, initially renting a home while looking for a more stable solution.

"Because I wanted to ensure that Brad remained an important part of our children’s lives, I looked to buy a property near his home. At the time, my savings were tied up in Miraval, and I had not asked Brad for alimony or any other financial support."
Jolie went on to say the divorce has been 'emotionally difficult'.

Meanwhile, a source close to Pitt told PEOPLE: "This is a commercial business dispute, entirely separate from the divorce. It’s unfortunate but not surprising that 'excuses' are now being made for failing to produce emails in discovery."
UNILAD has reached out to Pitt's representatives for comment.
