Lil Kim removes her underwear and throws it into the crowd at concert

Rapper Lil Kim has caused a stir after throwing her panties into a crowd at a concert in a brazen stunt.

A video of the iconic rapper’s antics has begun to circulate on social media and it seems to have divided some viewers.

Lil Kim was performing at ONE MusicFest in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday (28 October) when she decided to pull the stunt.

Speaking to the crowd, she asked: “What do I got for y’all next?” Before answering her own question and stating: “Panties coming down.”

She then proceeded to throw her underwear into the audience while saying ‘how about this?' and then launching into her next song.

Social media users did clarify that the panties that Lil Kim threw into the crowd were ones that she was wearing on top of her pants.

“They were over her pants. Y’all too old. This not her first time doing this at her concerts. That’s like y’all saying why the brat pull her pants down on stage. Bc that’s what she does,” one fan clarified.

“Ya’ll are so funny, even though she's too old to be still doing that, it's a signature thing. Kim always did this at her shows. Her panties are always over her pants,” another added.

“It's part of her show but some of ya'll too young to know that lol.”

Despite this, other users took to ridiculing Lil Kim for the move.

“Maybe the late 90s Lil Kim Not the new Lil Kim,” one commented.

“If them draws would’ve touched me lawd. I’d press charges and file a lawsuit. These celebs be doing too much," another said.

Some critics of Lil Kim took it even further and claimed that if rapper Nicki Minaj did a similar stunt, she would face a barrage of negative comments. The two rappers have had on and off beef over the years with their fans regularly taking shots at the other group.

“If this was Nicki y’all would have dragged her [through] filth but okay,” one user suggested.

“Now see if Nicki did this they would say she too old, they got to pick and choose,” another agreed.

The only question remains is what the fan will likely do with them. Sell them on eBay? Or maybe wash them and put them in their own rotation? Another celebrity mystery to add to the pile.
