Can you remember what your favourite film was when you were a kid? Maybe Toy Story, or Monsters Inc.? Well, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West, has gone for something a little less cheerful.
The nine-year-old took to TikTok to give fans an insight to what the beginning of the day looks like for the daughter of some of the world's most famous and wealthy celebrities, and it doesn't include a glass of orange juice and some Rice Krispies.
In the 'Beginning my day' clip, which was shared to her and her mum's @kimandnorth TikTok page, North took her 9.4 million followers through her routine, which included doing her hair and selecting her outfit for the day.

Considering these are fairly normal ways for a child to start the day, it wasn't these elements that stood out to viewers.
Instead, the part which caught people's attention was an image of the title page for the 2021 film The Conjuring 3, which North claimed was her 'favourite movie'.
The movie is rated 15 - indicating it's definitely not appropriate for a nine-year-old - and is described as 'a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren'.

"One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they'd ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense," the synopsis says.
It's not exactly the most light-hearted way to start the day, but each to their own, I suppose.
It should be noted that North's TikTok indicates they don't own the film, and instead she'd have to pay to rent or buy it ready for the morning watch. With that in mind, it's possible the nine-year-old could be joking about her favourite movie.

Still, the ambiguity around the video has left many viewers questioning her taste, with one writing on Twitter: "north west’s favorite movie being 'the conjuring 3' was something i simply never would have guessed in my entire life."
Another commented: "can we talk about how north west’s favorite movie is the conjuring 3."
The clip quickly racked up thousands of views, but appears to have since been deleted from the page. North has since posted videos of her lip-singing along to Michael Jackson's 'Beat It'.
