Kim Kardashian brings hair and make-up team and her own lighting to get her driver’s license picture taken

It's an errand that nobody looks forward to.

For Kim Kardashian, however, she made the trip a little more fun.

When it came time to get her picture taken for her licence, the 42-year-old had her glam squad on standby to make sure she looked photo ready.

In the episode of The Kardashians, the mum of four rocked up to the DMV with makeup artist, Ariel Tejada, and hairstylist, Chris Appleton.

Kardashian was sporting her $450 Balenciaga pedicure flip-flops, a sleeveless black mock-neck top, and an oversized varsity jacket.

At one point, the reality star was drawn into a debate about how tall she was, as she insisted she was 'half an inch' taller than her license height of 5'3.

She also hesitated on whether or not she should include 'West' in her name when filling out a form, before ultimately ditching it and sticking with Kardashian.

When it came time to get her license picture taken, Kardashian worked her magic and managed to get some stellar shots effortlessly.

She did have to beg for another attempt admittedly.

It's not quite the same as nipping down the photo booth in Sainsbury's and hoping for the best, is it?

Fans were divided in their reactions to Kardashian's extra behaviour.

Many praised her for going the extra mile to look glam in her picture.

One admirer wrote: "This is what all girls would do if they could. so I respect it," whilst another commented: "She took 'never caught unfresh' to a whole other level."

Others however weren't so impressed with Kardashian's bougie behaviour.

One critic remarked: "Kim Kardashian shutting down a DMV and bringing her glam squad for her license photo is the most tone deaf thing I’ve ever seen…."

Another said: "Imagine planning your whole day around going to the DMV (bc you really need to) just to find out it’s been fucking shut down by goddamn Kim Kardashian so she can be all pampered and dolled up for her drivers license photo."

Needless to say, it's divided opinion.

Some think it's amusing and admit they'd secretly want to take these liberties, whilst others see her behaviour as being out-of-touch with the rest of society.

Regardless, Kardashian isn't the first celebrity to make a whole song and dance out of going to the DMV.

Victoria Beckham infamously got herself dolled up for her license photo and even requested for a do-over when she didn't like how the picture turned out.

Needless to say, the employee wasn't in the mood to humour her vanity.
