Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about 'setting principles' for actresses shooting nude scenes, after once asking 'unauthorized' crew members to leave the set.
The 36-year-old spoke about setting firm boundaries during a recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she told host Alex Cooper how intimate scenes are filmed in the industry - and it's not the first time she's addressed the topic.
While acknowledging that working at a high level requires actors to be 'malleable', she also noted that there are certain protocols to be followed during particularly private scenes.
"I speak up more because I'm also aware of the place that I have in the industry," the mom-of-two said, having made her blockbuster debut in The Hunger Games in 2012.

Lawrence, who recently opened up about her cosmetic surgery, recalled: "There was like an instance on set where PE crew members who weren't approved when I was like doing nudity, you know, were on set or something.

"And I came down hard on it purely because if we're not setting that kind of principle at the level at which we're doing it right now, you know, then what on earth is going to happen to an 18-year-old unknown."
She went on to explain that other actresses may feel more uncomfortable speaking up in fear that they could 'get a reputation for being difficult'.
The star noted that younger women could question: "Do I just let these people that I'm not comfortable with seeing me naked, see me naked?"
Lawrence then added: "So it was important to me to explain that to the to the people why that was not okay."
Intimacy coordinators are often brought in to work with actors and production teams to ensure intimate scenes, including nudity and simulated sex, are filmed safely and professionally.

They can also arrange closed sets, where only essential crew members are present during intimate scenes.
Prior to filming her first sex scene with Chris Pratt for the 2016 film Passengers, Lawrence admitted she got 'really, really drunk' before the shoot.
"It led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don’t know'. And he was married," she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015.
"And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach."
The actress later added that she had to ring her mom following the experience.
"It was just very vulnerable. And you don’t know what’s too much," Lawrence admitted. "You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been."
