Doja Cat has claimed Twitter has banned her from replying to 'anything' after the rapper recently told fans to 'shut the f*ck up'.

The musician, 26, made the revelation on Wednesday (3 August) in the wake of a number of heated posts including her declaration that people are so dumb it's 'terrifying'.

The drama seemingly stemmed from a tweet from the star that read: "people r so f**kin dumb istg it's terrifying [sic]."

While some fans asked who the rapper was referring to so that they could jump to her defence, others found the tweet offensive.

One wrote: "u are people [sic]."

"Honestly her music is good it's just her i dont like [sic]," added a second, while a third wrote: "Bruh you've made yo point already, you hate us on twitter …go back to tik tok jeez [sic]."

"Can you please grow up lmao," replied a third Twitter user. "All you do is come online and rant about stuff. Its never anything positive or being grateful. Just constant negativity, it's so embarrassing and sad tbh [sic]."

This particular tweet didn't go unnoticed by the Grammy-Award winner, who replied and called the social media user a 'nerd' before telling them to 'shut the f**k up.'

The Twitter user replied again, telling the rapper that they actually 'loved' her but asked her to stop attacking fans who criticised her, adding: "Doja…. Girl… we love u lmao.. u don't gotta come at us."

However, Doja Cat simply hit out at them again, writing: "Ur being a cringe a** nerd please stop [sic]."

Another fan weighed in on the interaction, claiming that Doja needs to stop arguing with her fans and focus on 'adjusting' to celebrity life instead.

They wrote: "her energy has been off, like all she focuses on is the haters and negativity. It drains me as a fan of hers fr. Blocking ppl isn't gonna stop the trolling. She needs to adjust to the celebrity life [sic]."

This didn't go unnoticed either, and the rapper also told this fan to shut up.

She wrote: "shut the f**k up b*tch you don't know my life [sic]."

The situation managed to get worse when another Twitter user said that Doja has been the subject of controversy herself and shouldn't be slamming people.

However, she hit out again, writing: "suck my f**king d*ck and eat my balls b**ch [sic]."

It was shortly after this that the rapper realised her account had been restricted by the social media platform, sharing a screenshot of unsent tweets.

Alongside the series of offensive replies, she wrote: "twitter isn’t letting me reply to anything now [sic]."

Twitter restricts and suspends accounts when they are deemed to have violated the Twitter Rules, which among other bans, prohibit hateful conduct.
