Chrissy Teigen delivered a biting response to a critic who objected to a photo she shared on Instagram of her and her children bathing together.
39-year-old Teigen and her husband John Legend, 46, have never shied away from sharing intimate snapshots of their family with their social media followers.
The celebrity couple, who have been married since 2013, share four children, who regularly feature in selfies and candid snaps taken in their Beverly Hills home.
Unfortunately, one recent upload has irked some Instagram users, forcing the former Lip Sync Battle host to defend its inclusion in a carousel.
The image that fans have seemingly taken aim at is a picture of Teigen in the bath with three of her four children—Miles Theodore, six, Esti Maxine, two, and Wren Alexander, 19 months.

Their oldest daughter, Luna Simone, eight, does not feature in the picture. Instead, her three younger siblings are smiling for the camera while enjoying some downtime in the tub with their mother.
As well as the bath image, the TV personality’s carousel features a video of the kids seemingly listening to music in the back of a car, as well as a video of Teigen getting her eyebrows laminated.
There are also a few clips of the cookbook author posing in front of mirrors included in the post, which was uploaded with the caption ‘BAHHHHHHHHHHH’.

Hundreds have flocked to the comments section to have their say, with most centralising on the controversial bath picture.
One user typed: “Why do people post stuff like this on social media???” as a second remarked: “This a moment that should be kept private… naked kids and a naked adult in the bath together should be the last thing someone thinks about putting out on the internet whether it was innocent or not…”
Another query that has appeared on the post reads: “Why is she always in dirty bathwater?”
Teigen has actually responded to this user with a brutal 11-word takedown, writing: “It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!”

The mum-of-four’s clapback has already racked up over 8,400 likes and has seen a plethora of fans rushing to praise her for the no-nonsense response.
“The people with zero clues always ring in…,” typed one, while a second said: “It has to be exhausting sometimes trying help people use critical thinking. Stay strong!”
Someone else wrote: “It’s really sad how people have to bash you. I think you’re wonderful mother doesn’t listen to people. I guess you’re used to it, but people are evil.”

Elsewhere, another of Teigen’s followers penned: “These kids have a better relationship with their parents than any of you mom shaming her.. lol."
Last year, the star found herself in hot water after her husband uploaded a video of her soaking off her ‘body makeup’ in a bathtub.
“Currently getting roasted online for being dirty because no one listened the the audio where I say I’m soaking off body makeup (to shower after!) full blown fights in John’s comments,” she said, sharing the video with her own Instagram followers.
“My favorite is ‘baths are not for bathing’. I love a good old fashioned roasting though, u guys are killing it (it being never touching grass ever).”

In reply to the backlash, Legend later commented: “Baths are not for bathing is some amazing internet-ness.”
