In the wake of a very public spat with her sister Jamie Lynn, Britney Spears has gone back to her favourite social media activities: posting workout videos and clapping back at haters.
In a new post the star combined the two by reposting a clip from a gym session, while using the caption to call out followers who seem to have nothing better to do with their time than attacking her in the comments section.
'So I wanted to repost this because damn !!! Y’all comments are so NICE' she wrote with more than a subtle hint of sarcasm.
In the clip, over which a remix of her hit single Toxic plays, Britney can be seen being put through her paces as she goes through a range of exercises, from walking on the treadmill to lifting weights to a yoga flow, with, of course, a few iconic dance breaks thrown in for good measure.

It's not exactly clear why some people felt the need to take time out of their day to criticise Britney's workout routine, but the singer clearly took notice, and decided to publicly snap back in classic Britney fashion.
'As I repost this and get laughed at by most and criticized again for sweating and not looking perfect … I might gain some empathy for myself and say the THE THINGS I SHOULD HAVE SAID,' she wrote in the caption.
'First, F*** YOU and what’s with the BIG LETTER TALK ??? YOU THINK YOU’RE IMPORTANT !!! AGAIN F*** YOU,' she continued.
'And if that’s too offensive, take it with a grain of salt 🧂 and sprinkle it over your a**es because you people are so cruel you might need some cleansing.'
Britney's fans can't get enough of her 'no f**** given' approach to Instagram, filling the comments of her latest post with love heart emojis and praise for her response to her critics.

'You're a f***ing icon,' one person wrote, with another commenting 'Godney we love you.'
'You look amazing and happiness looks beautiful on you,' said another fan.
Britney had previously shared the same clip with a different caption, revealing that it was shot during a recent holiday with fiancé Sam Asghari in Hawaii.
'So I was a little too excited for my trip to Maui!!' she wrote in the since deleted post. 'I might have over done it a bit.'
