Kit Harington has revealed he was swiftly 'humiliated' by Bella Ramsey while the pair were filming Game of Thrones.
HBO's hit fantasy drama TV series, based on George R.R. Martin's novels, first graced our screens in 2011 before showrunners decided it was time for its heartbreaking end after eight seasons in 2019.
And while many diehard fans grew to love the cast over the years, behind the scenes there were bound to be some clashes between all those big personalities.

Speaking to Interview Magazine, Harington, who played Jon Snow in the show, opened up about the time he was humbled by his co-star, Ramsey, who currently stars in the HBO video game adaptation of The Last of Us.

Ramsey was just 11 at the time when they brought to life a fiery noblewoman, Lady Lyanna Mormont.
The duo shared many scenes together, and while the London-born actor thought it would be an easy day in the office to act 'opposite some child,' he learned the hard way that Ramsey was talented beyond her years.

He said Ramsey had 'a confidence and clarity that was quite unusual for a young actor' that made him check his own 'arrogance'.
In one touching moment of team collaboration, Harington said Ramsey, now 21, mouthed his lines to him when it was obvious he had forgotten.
“I do remember you helping me out, and it being quite humiliating,” he said in the his interview with Ramsey for Interview Magazine before adding: “Yeah, thanks for that.”
The Nottingham-born star who identifies as non-binary said they had some 'remorse' for their behavior, saying it must have been 'annoying'.

"Now, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, how awful,'" they said. “But at the time, it came from a very innocent place of being like, ‘Kit’s struggling with his line, and I know it, so let me just mouth it to him.’”
Yet Harington disagreed, saying his younger co-star's helping hand only inspired him to improve.
“It wasn’t [annoying] at all," he said. "If anything I was like, ‘Oh God, I’ve got to up my game. I came here not really being comfortable enough with my lines, in the arrogance of however old I was, thinking I’m just opposite some child. And then that child actor is wiping me off the screen.’”

He admitted he 'got a bit too comfortable in my Jon Snow-ness.'

The 38-year-old also reflected on his first meeting with Ramsey, saying: "I’m going to blow a bit of smoke here, so I’m sorry, but there was a real feeling of you being a different entity of child actor. We were like, 'Oh, they’re good.'"
"It didn't feel like working with a child," he continued, to which Ramsey said they remember 'not feeling like a child' while in the role.

"[B]ut now I see 11-year-olds and realize how tiny they are, so it’s weird to me that I was that size and that young, because I didn’t feel that tiny," they added.
While Ramsey has been catapulted onto our screens in a lead role in The Last of Us, Harington entered a wellness facility when filming ended in May 2019 to take a break from acting.
