Britney Spears has hit back at the Osbourne family after she found herself under scrutiny on a recent episode of their podcast.

Spears has a lot of experience living in the public eye, but she's usually happy to speak her mind if she ends up as the subject of criticism.

This is exactly what happened after the Osbournes began to talk about the singer in the most recent episode of their podcast, simply named The Osbournes Podcast, after Kelly Osbourne was asked by a listener whether she'd ever do a TikTok dance.

Kelly quickly shut down the idea as she claimed she doesn't know 'how to do TikTok dances', before Sharon weighed in to say that TikTok has developed 'into so much more' than viral dances.

After a bit of banter between the mom and her kids, including son Jack, Ozzy brought Spears into the conversation by saying he was 'fed up' of seeing her post videos online.

“I’m fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube,” he said, adding: "Every f**king day. It’s sad, very, very sad.”

The whole family then shared their thoughts on Spears as Jack responded: "Save Britney."

“I know. I feel so sorry for her,” Kelly said.

Sharon described Spears as a 'poor little thing', adding that her posts were 'heartbreaking'.

Spears, on the other hand, feels differently.

The singer took to Instagram last night (17 July) to share her a response to the Osbournes' comments, and it's safe to say she wasn't happy about them.

In her post, Spears began by crediting Underworld star Kate Beckinsale for posting the content she wants, in spite of some 'incredibly cruel people' saying she needed to be more 'age appropriate'.

She then went on to defend herself, making reference to comments which claimed it was 'sad' she was 'dancing every single day' on Instagram.

"I know what it's like to be judged so it's a ridiculous and stupid subject initially but I think it's important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!," Spears continued in part.

The singer then went on to claim that she was going to do a photoshoot with Beckinsale, all the while hitting back at the Osbournes for their comments.

She aimed a brutal two-word response towards the family, saying: “I’m gonna do a photoshoot with Kate [Beckinsale] and tell the Osbourne family who is the most boring family known to mankind to kindly f**k off !!!”

Spears' post has received thousands of likes, and was followed up by a video of the singer twirling around in front of the camera - showing she's not going to be put off by anyone else's thoughts on her actions.

UNILAD has reached out to representatives for Ozzy and the Osbourne family for comment.
