Netflix will no longer work on several models of TV, even if you are paying for a subscription.

It might be one of the biggest streaming platforms out there, but Netflix will no longer be available on as many as 60 different models of smart TV in just a few short weeks.

But if you are worried that your brand new TV is about to be rendered useless for streaming your favourite shows, then don't worry.

This is because the affected models are all around ten years old, so if you use an older model of television then it may be time to swap.

Most smart TVs are capable of supporting Netflix, with the streaming service being one of the most popular in the market.

But for 16 different models of Sony television as well as two generations of the Apple TV, that is no longer the case.

These will also be joined by a further 42 different models of Sony TV.

So what are the models which will be affected by this great switching off?

Brace yourself as this might get a little bit technical, and if you are worried that your model is one of those impacted then you can take a look at the list below.

In addition to that, if you have an Apple TV of the second and third generation models then Netflix will stop working on July 31.

So if you have these models and want to continue streaming on Netflix you'll need to find another way, or just go onto a different streaming service.
