Everything to expect from GTA 6’s first trailer

The trailer drops on Tuesday, December 5

With just three days to go until Rockstar Games releases the trailer for GTA 6, people are wondering what will be revealed.

It's been over ten years since GTA 5 hit shelves, so it's safe to that Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting a fair amount of time for the new game to be released.

It's remains unclear when exactly gamers will be able to get their hands on GTA 6, but fans have been given a glimmer of hope that its release could be soon in light of Rockstar Games' pending trailer drop.

But, with the studio's history in mind, it could be a while after the trailer's release that the game actually comes out.

Aside from the release date, the pending trailer is expected to give fans a glimpse into what they can expect from GTA 6 when its eventually released.

One thing that's believed to be confirmed is the game's location - which fans are convinced is Vice City.

From the teaser image shared head of the trailer dropping online in the coming days, GTA gamers believe the palm trees could be a telltale sign that Vice City is making a return.

Meanwhile, some of GTA 6's cars could be revealed in the trailer.

People have shared their hopes online, with one gamer penning on Reddit: "I know the game will take place in the modern era, but I really hope we'll see classic/old-school cars as well, like in GTA 5.

“Something like a Chevrolet Bel Air or a Ford F-100 or basically anything from the 50s to the 80s. If 90% of the cars are going to be modern and electric, I will be pretty disappointed, not gonna lie."

Others on X have expressed their desire for GTA 6 to have real car brands in the game for the first time - which hopefully the trailer will show too.

The trailer may also show some gameplay in light of the leaks the game has had in recent months.

Previously Rockstar hasn't shown gameplay on trailers for its huge games like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, but it may switch this up for GTA 6's trailer because of the leaks.

Historically its trailers have been around 60 to 90 seconds, so it's likely this upcoming ad will be too.

Rockstar Games confirmed the trailer release earlier this week.

New characters might also be announced in the highly anticipated reveal.

With the teaser image showing three birds, fans have also questioned if there will be three protagonists in GTA 6.

Part of the leak revealed that there will be a female main character in the game, who is believed to be named Lucia; a first for GTA.

The trailer drops on Tuesday (December 5) at 9 AM ET, 12 PM PT.
