Hogwarts Legacy players discover a weapon far stronger than any spell

It's a vicious vegetable that packs a pretty ferocious bite...

Hogwarts Legacy is the buzziest video game out right now, with Potterheads flooding social media with pictures, videos and stories about the magical gameplay.

It has already become the most successful Harry Potter game ever and its sales are 80 percent ahead of Eden Rings at this time last year.

The new game hasn’t even been out for a full month yet but keen gamers have spent hours exploring, however one fan might have just discovered a weapon that is more powerful than any spell.

A Reddit user known as CumboJumbo recently discovered the power that Chinese Chomping Cabbages have. They wrote: “[I] did some testing today and with the right build you can become a Cabbage guru, releasing six Cabbages at once and they will DEVOUR everything.

There’s a savvy way to increase Cabbage damage. The Reddit user continued: “You need the Herbology 3 trait (found in special Bandit Camp chests with four legs, reload save if you don't get it) and the Fertiliser talent (Room of Requirement section in talents menu).

“Herbology 3 will boost Cabbage damage. Put it on all of your clothing items for six stacks of damage. Fertiliser generates an extra Cabbage for free. You can have six Cabbages out at once this way (giving you 24 Cabbages for your max inventory of 12)."

Finally, they added: “The Cabbage damage is based on the total ‘Offence’ stat of your current equipment. You should also build four potting tables in the Room of Requirement for Cabbages. You’ll want the table with three medium pots. This will yield 12 Cabbages every 12 minutes to completely restock your inventory. Enjoy.”

It’s time to jump on the combat plant trend ASAP.

You could grow your own Chinese Chomping Cabbages.

Players can pick up a few Chinese Chomping Cabbages as part of the herbology class with Professor Garlick, but once you’ve used all of your supply, you’ll have to buy more.

They can be fairly difficult to find, which is why it’s recommended that all you Witches and Wizards take a trip to Hogsmeade to continue your search.

Buying Chinese Chomping Cabbages at Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade, will set you back 300 galleons.

Alternately, why not grow some of you own ferocious veggies by buying seeds and growing them in the Room of Requirement? Firstly, you’ll have to unlock the Room of Requirement and buy a Spellcraft for a Potting Table with a Medium Pot from Tomes and Scrolls.

This sounds perfect for everyone with green fingers and a love for magic.
