When you make a career out of predicting the future, you live and die by your reputation for getting things right, and one popular psychic has already got one major prediction correct.

Award-winning medium Jill M Jackson has made a number of terrifying predictions for the year ahead and, according to her, 2026 is set for even more instability on both a personal and global scale.

The Mississippi-based spiritual teacher even prophesized that earthquakes and other natural disasters would plague the world in the year ahead, while sharing her vision for 2026 on the Jeff Mara Podcast at the end of 2025.

She envisioned 'a lot of earth changes coming' and said that she sees 'land shifting' and advised that 'it's important for us to be in a place of preparation'.

While this might seem a bit vague, she also predicted where it would strike and got it exactly right.

Jackson, who has twice been named 'Psychic of the Year', said that these quakes would strike Asia and the US West Coast. She was proven right within days of the New Year.

In just the first week of 2026, the US Geological Survey (USGS) recorded nearly 100 earthquakes around the world with a magnitude over 4.5, largely striking Asian countries within the range of the Pacific Rim.

A number of the largest have struck in the past week, with Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Russia all experiencing quakes over 5.0M.

The biggest hit the Philippines on Tuesday, when a 6.4M earthquake hit the archipelago.

While there have been fewer problems along the fault lines on the US West Coast, a number of 4.0M earthquakes have shaken Alaska since the start of the year. On January 2, Southern Mexico saw the largest in North America so far this year, with a 6.5M causing authorities to evacuate residents as far as Mexico City.

The lauded psychic has warned that this seismic activity could also contribute to devastating floods in 2026, with Jackson sharing a reminder to 'pay attention to water and things like that.'

With one major win under her belt already, the other forecasts made by the psychic on the podcast seem even more likely.

The medium with a solid track record did not foresee an end to the protracted Russia-Ukraine war, but she did see the conflict caused by President Trump's attack on Venezuela 'fizzle out' by halfway through the year.

Jackson's other predictions for 2026 saw a lot of volatility in people's personal lives, with turbulence in the job market and unexpected moves on the cards for many in the year ahead.

She explained: "I do see a lot of polarity... A lot of ups and downs. It's going to feel like a roller coaster. Sadly, I do see a lot more people losing their jobs in 2026."

But leaving a place of employment does not always have to be a downer.

For Jackson, this major life change could present an opportunity to make positive changes, whether that's finding something different or starting out on their own.

"I do see a lot of people doing complete 180s and leaving jobs and careers that they have been in for years and years and starting over, starting something new," she said. "I also see a lot of new businesses being created, but it feels more local"

Even though major changes can be scary, the medium said: "Once they go through that, they are going to have an opportunity to go within and realize that they were not on their soul's path anyway."
