Police have branded a woman accused of killing three people in as many days 'a serial killer'.

Sabrina Kauldhar, 30, was arrested on October 3 after a woman and two men were killed in Toronto, Canada.

The alleged killing spree began on October 1, when officers found a woman dead in her home in the Keele Street and Dundas Street West area.

Hamilton Police Service said the victim had 'visible trauma' to her body and was known to the accused.

The next day, emergency services were called to a disturbance at John Allan Park in Niagara Falls.

On arrival, they found a man later identified as Lance Cunningham, 47, with 'critical injuries.' Despite medical intervention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The third killing took place on October 3. A man was found stabbed in a parking lot in the Toronto suburb of Hamilton. Retired teacher, 77-year-old Mario Bilich, was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Niagara Regional Police Chief Bill Fordy told news reporters of the accused: “I think by definition she is a serial killer. Two or more [alleged] offenses, so by definition, I think that’s a fair comment.”

Police said the John Allen Park and Hamilton homicides were linked as the suspect matched descriptions given 'in both cases'.

Police added: “An additional link was made to the active homicide investigation from October 1 in Toronto.”

Investigators said Cunningham and Bilich were randomly targeted. Authorities later identified the Toronto murder victim, but have not disclosed her name publicly.

Kauldhar has been charged with first-degree murder for the Hamilton killing and second-degree murder for the Toronto and Niagara slayings, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, as police are still establishing a timeline of events.

Detectives are also attempting to identify a female who was observed on CCTV footage on October 1 at the Giant Tiger located at 2025 Guelph Line in Burlington. The woman was buying clothing that Kauldhar had in her possession at the time of her arrest.

Anyone with information, or who may have seen Kauldhar between October 1 and her arrest on October 3 at 5:45pm in Burlington, is urged to get in touch with detectives via the dedicated hotline at (289) 248-1058.

Information can also be provided anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers on 1-800-222-8477 or via the Crime Stoppers Hamilton website here.
