When delving into a takeaway treat - whether that be a burger or fried chicken - you'll certainly want to be having a drink with it.

A milkshake is often a good choice, that is until you realize it is in fact 'warm urine' instead.

Yep, not the drink you want to wash down your meal with.

Well, that is exactly what happened to one Utah man when he decided to treat himself to a treat meal earlier this week, according to Fox 59.

Caleb Woods ordered some fries and a milkshake from Chick-fil-A off the GrubHub app, but he quickly realized something wasn't quite right.

When he took a sip from the beverage handed to him by the delivery driver, Woods claims he quickly became sick afterwards.

"When I started eating my meal upon delivery, I put a straw in my cup that was delivered and took a sip," the infuriated customer said.

Caleb Wood was understandably disgusted by the whole incident.

"I soon discovered that the cup delivered to me from the GrubHub driver was a warm cup of urine."

Woods said he immediately called the driver back to his house to confront him about the whole p*ss situation.

The driver did return to the house, with footage from Woods’ home security camera showing the rather intense moment the GrubHub driver comes face to face with the customer once again.

"Did you confuse the cups, cause, like, dude — it’s a half full of pee," Woods is heard saying as he holds the cup. "Do you realize this is pee?" he added.

The driver responded by saying he had two styrofoam cups in the car, but got confused which one was the milkshake and which one was the urine-filled cup.

He went on to say he often clocks on for long hours without any toilet breaks, meaning he often uses a styrofoam cup as a toilet.

Woods contacted GrubHub to try and get his money back, though he didn't exactly get the response he would have hoped for.

The cup was full of urine.

"I think it [the order] cost like 25 bucks. They refunded like $18, the actual cost of the food," Woods told Fox 59. "They didn’t refund the delivery fee or the tip that I gave."

GrubHub has since issued a statement following the disgusting incident, saying: "We took immediate action with the driver and ended his contract with us.

"We’re following up with the customer to apologize and are coaching the representative who was previously in touch with the customer."
