A man who alleges his mom sexually abused him when he was as young as 10, has revealed what he would do if he discovered that his brother is his son.
Logan Gifford, of Las Vegas, is just 11 years older than his little brother - who he's been caring for after his mother, Doreene Gifford, was sentenced to a minimum of eight to 20 years in jail after she was convicted in 2015 of attempted sexual assault, incest, and lewdness with a child under 14.

Despite having been incarcerated, she maintained her innocence and took an Alford plea, which meant she did not admit guilt, but acknowledged that prosecutors had enough evidence to convict her.
In June 2024, she was released on parole.
Now, the 26-year-old is fighting for legal custody of his 15-year-old brother - who he currently lives with, with the pair being estranged from their mom and dad.
On August 2, he said in an update on his GoFundMe that he'd been granted 'temporary sole physical and legal custody'.
However, Logan says that a conversation led him to question whether he was his brother's biological father, so he decided to pursue a paternity test through a lab.

But the DNA results came back inconclusive as they matched 99.9 per cent with both Logan and his father, so his fight to uncover the truth of whether he is his brother's biological father continues.
Now, speaking with UNILAD, he asked whether the nature of their relationship would change if a paternity test returned that he is his brother's dad.

Logan said: "It wouldn't change how I interact with him. I have told him numerous times that he is and always will be my brother, regardless of how the test comes back.

"I told him I have no desire for my title to change and don't want to be called dad. I already am that child's father figure in more ways than one."
As for how his sibling will take the results if it is confirmed that he is his dad, Logan explained how he doesn't know how his brother would respond to them.
He continued: "I can pray for the best, but my family and I are prepared if he needs a little extra help to get through this. I have also had other family members with whom we are still in contact, hope that the results come back positive, just so the case can be over.

"That has been a difficult thing to hear because that means that I want my brother to be the product of my abuse with my mother.
"That is a heavy burden and quite a bitter pill to swallow."
He added: "I would accept it no matter what, in the end, because this is the first time my brother felt like he had someone in his corner looking out for his interests.
"It would sting, but it's not about me. It is about him getting answers to why he was born this way."

The teenager is aware of the situation regarding his father, and Logan explained that his sibling wants answers as to why he was born with 'cognitive delays'.
