ICE agent Jonathan Ross will officially be a millionaire if he gets his hands on the cash raised for him via online fundraisers.

Ross fatally shot Renee Good on January 7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota as protests against ICE were taking place. A fire department report has since revealed that the 37-year-old mother was shot in the chest, arm, and head four times.

Emergency services tried to save Good but tragically, she was declared dead 48 minutes after paramedics first arrived at the scene.

$1.5 million has since been raised for Good's widow and her family since her untimely death. The fundraiser was closed on January 9 after raising the staggering amount in just 48 hours.

Elsewhere, fundraisers have been set up Ross as well.

Reportedly, the ICE agent has not returned to work since Good's fatal shooting.

On the GoFundMe created for the officer, billionaire Bill Ackman donated $10,000, with the large contribution being heavily criticized, sparking Ackman to defend his actions.

Noting the social media frenzy that's come with his donation, Ackman said: "My donation to Ross has been characterised in social media by the press as my 'giving a reward to the murderer of Renee Good' likely in an effort to generate clicks and boost virality, and by some to advance their political objectives."

He added: "My purpose in supporting Ross and attempting to support Good was not to make a political statement.

"I was simply continuing my longstanding commitment to assisting those accused of crimes of providing for their defense."

On the GoFundMe page that Ackman donated to for Ross, there's so far been just short of $760,000 raised.

On a separate page set up on GiveSendGo over $282,000 has been donated, making the total sum of donations for Ross to work out to be approximately $1,042,000 (at the time of writing).

Part of the bio on the GiveSendGo fundraiser reads: "This patriot ICE agent faces smears from open-borders radicals, sanctuary city traitors like Frey, and their media mouthpieces who want to let invaders overrun us unchecked. We won't let that happen!

"This fundraiser supports of our ICE hero's personal costs, family protection, and anything else related to this righteous act of duty.

"These agents are the tip of the spear in reclaiming our country from the illegal invasion—deporting criminals, invaders, and threats that politicians like Frey invited in and shield."

Meanwhile, in an update shared on the GoFundMe on January 13, the page creator said that they'd made contact with Ross and 'arrangements are being put into place to transfer the funds as the officer wishes'.
