Ghislaine Maxwell offered up more information about Jeffrey Epstein and her employment under him in a new interview.

Maxwell currently remains in prison after being sentenced to 20 years in prison. She was found guilty in 2021 of luring teenage girls for disgraced financier and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Despite being in prison, she recently sat down with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to speak about Epstein and the individuals he had interacted with.

Details of President Donald Trump’s and Epstein’s friendship remains a hot topic in his second term and has only increased since he called on his followers to stop talking about the financier and the alleged ‘Epstein files’.

This desire from Trump to move on from Epstein comes after the DOJ and FBI released a memo in July saying that they found no evidence Epstein was murdered or that he had a ‘client list’, referred to as the Epstein files.

Maxwell also said in her interview she never saw Trump do anything inappropriate or heard stories of inappropriate acts.

She also touched on the official ruling that Epstein killed himself, stating she doesn't believe that to be the case.

During the interview, Maxwell also explained that while she was romantically involved with Epstein, the financial transactional nature of their relationship continued after they were no longer romantically involved.

She said as late as 2008 or 2009, Epstein paid her around $250,000 a year until he went to jail.

She said: “He had never stopped paying me."

Maxwell did not start on this figure however and noted what she remembers being paid from the start of her employment under Epstein.

She said: “My memory is that I got paid $25,000 a year to begin with. That’s my memory, I may be wrong."

She also went into greater detail about their romantic relationship and when she knew it was over.

“By 1999 our relationship had foundered. We stopped having sexual relations in 1999, not full sex.”

She said when he refused to visit her after the 9/11 attacks she knew their relationship was completely over.

She said ‘he wouldn’t see me at all’ on the day of the attacks on New York City despite only being a few blocks away.

She added: “And then I knew, as anyone did at that time, if you're not going to be there for someone in 9/11, you're never going to be there.”
