Ghislaine Maxwell has weighed in on the relationship between Trump and Epstein as controversy over their friendship continues to dominate Trump's second term as president.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison after a jury found her guilty in 2021 of luring teenage girls for convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

She was recently interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about Epstein’s crimes and the people in his circle.

Speaking over two days to Blanche at FCI Tallahassee low security women's prison in Florida, she touched on famous people and their alleged connections to Epstein including Donald Trump, former president Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.

About a week after the interview, Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security prison camp in Bryan, Texas.

Many have condemned Trump and his administration for their handling of the investigation into Epstein after his promise to 'release the Epstein files' was a major part of his election campaign.

However, Trump outraged many in his camp when he told people to move on from Epstein only a few weeks ago. This resulted in many people accusing the president of wrongdoing, despite Trump’s many denials that he did anything inappropriate during their friendship.

Maxwell has bolstered this claim in the interview, as she told Blanche she never witnessed Trump doing anything inappropriate.

She said: “I actually never saw the president in any type of massage setting.

“I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

She even clarified that she never heard Epstein or anybody else allude to Trump having done anything inappropriate either.

Maxwell added that Bill Clinton 'absolutely never' visited Epstein's private island Little St James. She also denied introducing Epstein to British royal Prince Andrew.

She also said 'there is no list' when asked about Epstein's rumored client list, which conspiracy theorists believe implicates high profile figures in his crimes.

Maxwell also insisted that she does not believe that Epstein killed himself.

Authorities have stated that the disgraced financier killed himself at aged 66 after he had been arrested earlier in the year and was awaiting a trial for the charges related to sex trafficking.

People have long argued that they do not believe this to be the case.

When asked, Maxwell replied: “I do not believe he died by suicide, no.”

However, she also stated that she did not have any speculation on who would have him killed.

When asked whether she believes Epstein had been killed to ‘keep him quiet’ she responded: “I do not have any reason to believe that. And I also think it's ludicrous, because if that... I also happen to think if that is what they wanted, they would've had plenty of opportunity when he wasn't in jail.

“And if they were worried about blackmail or anything from him, he would've been a very easy target.”
