Working in the fast food industry can be a brutal job.

And the manager of a Dunkin' Donuts had the perfect response to an angry customer who came at them in a diner:

Footage has been shared on social media of a customer storming into a Dunkin' Donuts to complain to a member of staff.

In the clip, which has been viewed countless times, the woman is seen demanding to speak to a manager about an incident.

She says: "Where's the manager in here, because I don't know what the f**k's wrong with this b***h but I'm not the one for that.

"I don't know who the f**k you think you... you gonna slam a window in my face?! Don't play with me, don't play with me!"

The customer went straight for the employee.

An employee then comes over to the counter and asks: "Yeah, what are you gonna do? I am the manager, actually, she's he manager, I'm the assistant."

"You're the manager and you're going to slam a window in my face? That's very rude." the woman asks.

To which the assistant replies: "You're going to lower your voice, sweetheart. I'm glad you backed up, I'm glad you backed up. Very smart.

"I've got the manager, you want to talk to her?"

The customer, who has now moved to the other end of the counter by this point, then replies: "I'm waiting for my stuff."

With the staff member, saying: "Oh, ok, I get it."

Since the footage was shared, it's sparked quite the response, with people backing the Dunkin' Donuts employee.

She eventually retreated.

Many piled into the comments to praise her for the way she handled the situation.

"I like how she calmed down quick after she got her temperature checked," said one user.

Another wrote: "That lady is a boss. Seems to have been in that situation before."

"Not very often I've thought 'Yep, she a bad mf' and it not be a female professional fighter but this is one of those times," put a third.

While someone else added: "Everything she said had me laughing. From the assistant to the manager clarification to the condescending 'very smart' to the casual 'oh ok' lollll toddler-proof you have no power here vibe.

"I want to know why she closed the window on her, but with the way this toddler is acting, I think I have an idea lol."
