An influencer has been forced to speak out following backlash about her relationship.

Natasha Newcombe, from Kent, UK, has been a social media content creator for the past six years.

With her online presence in mind, she says that over the years she's developed a 'thick skin' from the online abuse she gets.

Natasha says it's been her who has received the brunt of online trolls' comments over the years who have sadly picked her apart and pointed out her insecurities, but now it's her relationship that she's being criticised about.

Natasha is dating amateur boxer Marko Vituk, who is five years her junior.

While Marko is only 16, Natasha has pointed out to her haters that their romance is completely legal.

The age of consent in the UK is 16.

Gushing about her new beau in a TikTok video, the 21-year-old said: "It's very new but I have to say that this boy is the most mature, kindest, and loving person that I've ever been in a relationship with."

Elsewhere Natasha said: "I completely understand that people are going to have a opinion on my relationship, you're quite right to, but what you're not right to is direct hate at me, my friends and my family. That I won't f**kng stand for."

Natasha's video has amassed almost two million views on TikTok, and people were quick to take to the comments section of her post and continue to express their opinions of her romance with Marko.

One person said: "This is insane!"

Someone else questioned: "How is this reality?!"

"My jaw dropped," penned a third.

But others came to Natasha's defense and said that it's nobody's business who she dates.

"As long as your happy your not hurting anyone it’s none of there business," one wrote.

Echoing similar sentiments, someone else said: "Honestly it’s not really anyone’s business as long as you two are happy it doesn’t matter."

"You couldn't have said it any better, you focus on yourself and your life never let anyone else bring you down because they are just jealous," insisted someone else.

It's not uncommon for people to get backlash when dating someone who is significantly different in age - as fellow influencer Amira Rajab knows.

Late last year, Amira, 23, was engaged to a 44-year-old man. It's currently unclear if they are still in a relationship, however.
