Two stars of hit Netflix show Stranger Things lived in an apartment that became 'disgusting' while they were there, one of them has claimed.
Gaten Matarazzo moved in with one of his Netflix co-stars, but revealed that when they were living together unfortunately the state of the flat became less than presentable to visitors.
Many of us may have been there - two people who already be a little bit messy, then mess builds up until a home becomes unpleasant for people to visit.
This might spark a sudden flurry of cleaning activity, restoring the home to something resembling presentable before the cycle begins again.

And unfortunately, that's just what happened with Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson on the hit series, with the star opening up about his living arrangements to Entertainment Weekly.

He revealed that when he and Finn Wolfhard had moved in together during filming, things got a little out of hand.
"I would look around, like, three months after we were living together and be like, 'This place is disgusting, what are we doing?'" said Matarazzo.

Things got to a point where the pair would be embarrassed to have people over because of the poor state of their apartment.
Matarazzo said: "Both of us would be like, 'No. Do not come 10 feet to our home.'"
He revealed that they had 'kind of matched each other's energy', with mess beginning contained to just their bedrooms before spreading into the communal areas, and that they didn't 'hold each other to a standard'.
But when they realized that they couldn't have friends over with the way the flat was, they decided it was time to get on top of things.

It comes as Stranger Things is due to reach its finale at the end of the year.
The record-breaking show has run for nearly a decade on the streaming platform, becoming one of its biggest hits of the last few years with its retro supernatural sci fi story.
But, as with all good things, the show is now coming to what has been promised will be a spectacular finale in its fifth and final season with fans preparing themselves for one last trip to Hawkins, Indiana.

The Duffer brothers have promised the show will come to an enormous and emotional conclusion, revealing that they have had a sense of how things were going to conclude for some time.
Duffer told Variety: “We knew roughly what the end scene was for years - it wasn’t something we had to strain to come up with.”
As is now seemingly standard practice on streaming platforms, the final season is airing in several parts.
The first was released on 26 November, the second part will come out on Christmas Day, and the finale will be released on new year's eve.
